Common types of audio and video signal transmission medium, joints and wiring standard
    The common types of video signal: Composite-Video, Super-Video, RGBHV Video, Video Graphics Array, IBM PowerPC/Sun Color, Signal-Digital Interface and so on.
    Common types of audio signals: UnBalance Audio, Analog Balance Audio, Digital Unbalance Audio, Digital Balance Audio and so on.
 
    Common Connector: BNC Connector, RCA Connector, HD Connector with 15 pins, TRS Connector, XLR Connector.
    Below we briefly tell us about each common audio and video signal transmission medium, joints and wiring standard.

1. Composite-Video

  • Transmission media: The single coaxial cable with shielded - transfer impedance: 75Ω
  • The common connector: BNC Connector, RCA Connector.
  • Wiring standards: Pins is coaxial signal line, shell to public is shielding line network (Like the picture)RCA Cable

2. Super-Video

  • Transmission media: Shielded coaxial cable with the two - transmission impedance: 75Ω
  • Common connector: 2 X BNC Connector, 1 x Miniature Connector with 4 pins
  • Wiring standards: 3 feet pins is brightness (Y) signal line. 4 feet pins is chroma (C) signal line 1 foot, 2 feet to the public is shielding line network (Like the picture)Super-Video

3. RGBHV Video

  • Transmission media: 3-5 bands of coaxial cable shielding
  • Transmission impedance: 75Ω- Common Connector: 3-5 x BNC Connector
  • Wiring standards: Red is R Signal Line, Green is G Signal Line, Blue is B Signal Line, Black is H Signal Line, Yellow is V Signal Line, public ground is shielding line network (Like the picture).

  • Transmission media: 11 bands of coaxial cable shielding
  • Transmission impedance: 75Ω
  • Common connector: HD connector with 15 pins - wiring standards: 1 pin is Red, 2 pin is Green, 3 pin is Blue, 6 pin is Red Ground, 7 pin is Green Ground, 8 pin is Blue Ground, 13 pin is Floor Synchronous, 14 pin is Row Synchronization, 5 pin is Self-Test, 10 pin is Digital Ground, 4, 11, 12, 15 pin is Address Code (Like the picture)VGA Pin
